Job Overview

Duties

  • Advise corporate clients and private equity funds on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and general corporate matters.
  • Review and draft transaction documents related to M&A and private equity deals.
  • Manage deal processes and provide effective deal management.
  • Negotiate terms and work closely with clients to drive business development.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate law and market standards.
  • Work independently with a focus on high-level responsibilities and client interaction.

Requirements

  • Associates from law school class years 2018 to 2021, with potential consideration for more senior candidates.
  • Significant experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and market terms.
  • Proven ability to draft and review complex transaction documents.
  • Experience with effective deal management and client relationship management.
  • A driven personality with a business development-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage high levels of responsibility.

Education

  • J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar (Texas) required.
