Family Law - Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking a Family Law - Commercial Litigation Attorney to handle various tasks related to family law and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience, exceptional attention to detail, and strong writing and legal research skills. Candidates with a portable case book of business will receive preferential consideration. Duties:

• Communicate with clients and other counsel regarding family law and commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for family law and commercial litigation cases.
• Conduct discovery and prepare for court hearings, depositions, mediations, and conferences.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Meet with clients to discuss case details and provide legal advice.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in family law or commercial litigation.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong writing and legal research skills.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
