Job Duties:

  • Personally handle a caseload of Social Security disability cases from the initial through the hearing level.
  • Assist and guide paralegals with their Social Security disability caseloads.
  • Conduct intake reviews and maintain client communications throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Read, analyze, and summarize extensive medical records.
  • Prepare briefs and requests for on-the-record decisions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare clients for hearings and represent them before Administrative Law Judges.
  • Engage in all phases of client representation, including case development and appellate proceedings.
  • Conduct opening and closing statements, as well as cross-examination of vocational witnesses.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with any state bar.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing Social Security Disability Law.
  • Advanced analytical and time management skills with a strong focus on deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of clients facing disability challenges.
  • Familiarity with Social Security regulations, POMS, HALLEX, and related matters.
