Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with hands-on experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation, with excellent client service skills and advocacy abilities.

Duties:

• Litigate complex commercial cases in state and federal courts in Florida
• Manage discovery processes, including document requests and depositions
• Draft and argue pleadings and motions
• Oversee day-to-day case management activities
• Participate in trial preparation and strategy sessions
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and client communication
• Utilize effective problem-solving capabilities to meet client and team needs

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing
• 2-3 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Familiarity with state and federal courts in Florida
• Excellent technical, professional, and client service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with emphasis on collaboration
• Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing
