Duties

  • Manage a busy caseload of criminal defense matters, including misdemeanors and felonies.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling legal documents.
  • Represent clients in District and Superior Courts, ensuring the highest level of professionalism.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys, many of whom are former prosecutors.
  • Participate in jury trials and handle all aspects of trial preparation and litigation.
  • Uphold the firm’s commitment to client care and exceptional legal service.
  • Contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth and reputation for excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience handling criminal cases in Washington State, including significant jury trial experience.
  • Previous experience as a prosecutor or running a private practice is highly desirable.
  • Strong courtroom presence and ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association (required).

Certifications

  • Valid Washington State Bar License (required).
