Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Dallas, TX, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse immigration caseload, supervise a team of paralegals, and contribute to the firm's success by providing top-tier legal representation. Duties:

• Handle and manage immigration law cases, ensuring timely and accurate filings with USCIS, DOS, and EOIR
• Prepare filings and represent clients in hearings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR)
• Conduct record searches under FOIA, including FBI background checks, and gather police and court records
• Provide co-counseling support to other attorneys within the Immigration Department
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process
• Review and maintain open cases for proper recordkeeping and case management
• Collaborate with other team members during departmental meetings
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, court personnel, and immigration officers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Attorney, CEO, or CLO

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the United States
• At least 2 years of relevant legal experience in immigration law
• Experience with USCIS filings, including family-based petitions, asylum, U/T/VAWA cases, waivers, and employment-based cases
• Knowledge of EOIR cases, including cancellation of removal, asylum, adjustment of status, and waivers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules
• A solid work ethic, accountability, and strong attention to detail
• Occasional travel may be required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the United States
