Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies and case management plans.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive oral arguments in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to identify and address legal issues.
  • Maintained and managed case files, ensuring all documentation was accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in preparing for trial, including organizing evidence and coordinating with expert witnesses.
  • Stay current with legal developments and industry trends relevant to commercial litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably at a large law firm or civil litigation boutique.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes litigation matters.
  • Proven experience in managing discovery and trial preparation.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar.
