Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Handle all aspects of motion practice, including drafting, filing, and arguing motions.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses.
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and deposition preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Work independently on assigned tasks and manage a varied caseload efficiently.
• Multi-task and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• 1+ years of experience as a licensed attorney in general liability, employment law, and/or business litigation.
• Strong writing ability demonstrated through legal writing samples.
• Exemplary research skills with proficiency in legal research databases.
• Experience with motion practice and deposition skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Organized and efficient work habits with attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
