Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a Litigation and Regulatory Associate with 2-6 years of experience to join its Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources (EENR) group. This role is based in Jackson, Wyoming, with the potential for other office locations. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle litigation and regulatory matters within the energy, environmental, and natural resources sectors.
  • Provide legal counsel and research on environmental compliance, natural resource regulations, and workplace safety.
  • Manage litigation tasks including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Advise clients on issues related to OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) (experience in these areas is a plus).
  • Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving environmental and regulatory disputes.
  • Participate in firm-related diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of litigation or regulatory experience from a top-tier law firm.
  • Experience in environmental law, workplace safety, or natural resources issues.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Interest in environmental, regulatory, or natural resource litigation.
  • Experience with OSHA PSM or EPA RMP is a plus but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
