A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Intake Associate Attorney to join its team in Corpus Christi, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the intake process, handling case development, and managing the early stages of litigation. The position requires strong legal analysis, client interaction, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.

Duties:

  • Oversee the intake and onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all relevant information is collected and cases are set up accurately.
  • Review and develop assigned legal matters, analyzing each case for potential legal issues and strategic opportunities.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and the legal process.
  • Negotiate settlements and review demands on behalf of clients.
  • Lead initial stages of litigation, preparing cases for trial or resolution.
  • Manage client funds, ensuring proper handling and timely disbursement after resolution.
  • Maintain case files, keeping accurate records of progress and updates.
  • Collaborate with other legal staff to ensure high-quality service and efficient case management.
  • Utilize a robust commission structure, earning on all attorney’s fees collected through case outcomes.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives and community involvement programs.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury litigation experience, or relevant legal experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong client service orientation and ethical legal practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high professional standards.
