Duties:

• Provide strategic guidance to individuals facing criminal charges, offering clarity on legal rights and viable courses of action

• Prepare case-related documents including motions and supporting evidence for the defense

• Represent clients during pretrial proceedings and update them on case status and strategies

• Manage all courtroom-related responsibilities including trial presentation, legal argumentation, and witness examination

• Conduct in-depth analysis of case law and legal precedent to guide defense strategy

• Handle all aspects of case preparation from intake to resolution

• Interview witnesses and consult with subject matter experts to reinforce client positions

• Collaborate closely with legal support staff and fellow attorneys to ensure case success

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in criminal law

• Demonstrated success managing cases at municipal, state, and federal levels

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

• Fluent in both English and Spanish is highly preferred

• Adept at navigating sensitive legal matters with discretion and professionalism

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active membership in good standing with a State Bar (Nevada preferred)

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Nevada or eligibility for reciprocity
