A law firm in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and extensive law firm experience. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing and communication skills, a preference for technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or a related field, and a strong background in Hatch Waxman litigation. This role requires expertise in drafting legal briefs, managing fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the development of litigation strategies.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Manage all phases of fact and expert discovery, including planning, executing, and analyzing discovery processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic litigation plans with a focus on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present effective cases.
  • Maintain organized case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic advice to clients on case status and developments.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
  • High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:
