  • Conduct due diligence reviews and provide insightful analysis of potential transaction risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement transaction strategies.
  • Manage client relationships, focusing on providing high-quality service and maintaining strong, ongoing communication.
  • Oversee and mentor junior associates and support staff involved in transactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments impacting healthcare M&A.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations throughout the transaction process.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on significant business transactions.
  • Experience in healthcare services and healthcare technology mergers and acquisitions preferred.
  • Active, in good standing, State Bar license.
  • Exceptional writing and drafting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of responsiveness and effective client relationship management.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and client-service ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead transactions with minimal supervision.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license in good standing.
