Duties:

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Assist with corporate formation, business transactions, and general corporate matters
  • Collaborate with clients on planning estates, forming businesses, and addressing related legal matters
  • Manage smaller matters independently while working with senior attorneys on larger, complex issues
  • Provide legal advice to individuals and businesses regarding estate and transactional planning
  • Perform research and analysis on estate, trust, and corporate legal issues

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Indiana Bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and/or transactional
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently on smaller matters and collaboratively on larger projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Indiana Bar admission (or eligibility to practice law in Indiana)
