Job Overview:
A law firm in Redwood City, CA, is seeking a Mid-Level Tech Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in managing components of transactions independently and working in teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions for technology companies and venture capital investor clients.

Duties:

• Manage and execute M&A transactions for technology companies.
• Provide legal counsel and support on complex M&A deals, from due diligence to closing.
• Draft and review transactional documents including term sheets, purchase agreements, and disclosure schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage relationships with clients and external counsel.
• Conduct research and analyze legal issues related to M&A transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably with technology companies and venture capital investors.
• Proven ability to manage transaction components independently and work effectively within teams.
• Proactive with a strong business sense and excellent client relationship management skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly preferred.
