Associate Attorney for a debt collection caseload

Duties

• Lead and manage court appearances, including preparing for and conducting motions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft, review, and oversee the preparation of key legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and post-judgment actions.
• Handle case management from initiation through resolution, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met with precision.
• Work closely with clients, providing clear guidance and legal strategies to resolve cases efficiently.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure thorough preparation and analysis of case files, leveraging research and legal knowledge to drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in Michigan.
• Bar admission in additional states (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio) is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
