Duties:

  • Manage a variety of financing transactions, including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.
  • Provide legal advice on lending transactions, with an emphasis on borrower-side exposure.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop innovative financing solutions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for financing transactions.
  • Assist in negotiating and drafting loan agreements and related documentation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting private credit markets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in private credit or finance matters, preferably at a nationally recognized law firm.
  • Demonstrated lending experience, with borrower-side exposure considered a plus.
  • Strong understanding of various financing transactions, including cash flow deals, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.
  • Experience with asset-based financings, restructurings, and workouts is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.
