Job Title: Remote Associate Litigation Attorney - Construction Defense

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing Construction Defense Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to manage a variety of tasks, including discovery, mediation, and trial work, in a collaborative setting.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of discovery, including intake and review of case files.
• Actively engage in mediation and trial preparation.
• Draft legal motions and prepare for court proceedings.
• Manage client communications and coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Provide strategic legal advice and ensure clients’ interests are effectively represented in litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in litigation, particularly within the construction defense sector.
• Proven ability to draft motions, prepare for depositions, and manage trial work.
• Excellent communication skills, both with clients and opposing counsel.
• A valid license to practice law in Florida is required.
• Experience in defense litigation is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial skills.
• Ability to handle complex legal tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and mediation abilities.
