This role involves defending clients in all phases of construction litigation, requiring strong research, writing, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative approach.

Duties:

• Represent clients in construction defect defense litigation
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
• Draft and argue motions in court
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to case strategy
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Experience in construction defect litigation on the defense side
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Knowledge of construction defect law and defense strategies
• Familiarity with legal research tools and methods
• Proficient in legal document drafting
