Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with a background in providing comprehensive legal advice on estate planning, trust administration, and tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of relevant experience and a commitment to delivering excellent client service in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on all aspects of estate planning, including creating wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
  • Assist clients with estate and trust administration, probate proceedings, and fiduciary representation.
  • Collaborate with clients’ financial and tax advisors to create holistic estate plans that align with personal, financial, and tax objectives.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings and other related legal matters.
  • Ensure compliance with estate and gift tax regulations, providing tax planning strategies.
  • Manage ongoing client relationships for complex estate planning and trust administration matters.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.
  • Strong knowledge of trust and estate administration, including tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
  • Excellent client service skills with a focus on responsiveness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to manage and take ownership of cases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Nebraska or eligibility for licensure.

  • Ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
