A law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney in Paoli, PA.

Job Overview:

The Estate Planning Attorney will work closely with the Managing Partner and Senior Attorney to guide clients and their families through the estate planning and trust administration process. They will have the opportunity to develop and manage a wide range of cutting-edge estate planning strategies while building their client portfolio under mentorship.

Duties:

  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Identify appropriate estate planning strategies and make recommendations to meet client objectives.
  • Discuss the distribution of assets, retirement plans, real estate, charitable giving, and insurance options with clients.
  • Review estate plans and other documents prepared by legal assistants and paralegals.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of estate plans as needed.
  • Litigate cases in probate court and consult with external parties as necessary.
  • Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients through phone, email, and meetings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of estate planning experience handling matters from inception to conclusion.
  • Proficiency or interest in administering simple and complex estates & trusts.
  • Experience with lifetime planning objectives, estate, trust, and fiduciary litigation.
  • Pennsylvania Bar is required; New Jersey and Delaware Bar admissions are a plus.
  • An LLM degree in Taxation or CPA would be a plus.
  • Experience with Lackner, Wealth Counsel, and/or ElderCounsel drafting desired.
