Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled immigration law practice, providing strategic solutions to clients while also offering a supportive environment for professional growth. As an Associate Immigration Attorney, you will manage a variety of immigration cases, engage directly with clients, and collaborate with a talented team of legal professionals.

Duties:

• Advise clients on immigration matters, offering clear and actionable strategic solutions
• Represent individuals in both detained and non-detained removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
• Manage and prioritize a caseload of complex immigration matters
• Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at correctional facilities
• Draft and prepare immigration petitions, including those related to family-based immigration and removal defense
• Review and revise immigration applications to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, legal organizations, and community groups on immigration-related issues
• Consult with potential clients to assess their immigration needs and develop case strategies
• Prepare clients and witnesses for immigration-related hearings and USCIS interviews
• Conduct thorough legal analysis to identify potential benefits and strategies for cases
• Draft and file legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in immigration law, including removal defense and family-based petitions
• Strong ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining high standards of legal work
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Proven track record of advancing legal cases and managing client relationships
• Experience with Case Management Software is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to NV State Bar in good standing

Certifications:

• NV State Bar license

Skills:

• Expertise in immigration law, including EOIR, USCIS, detained cases, and humanitarian relief
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Client-focused approach with a commitment to providing excellent legal services
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse caseload
• Organizational and time-management skills
