This attorney will manage a range of legal matters, represent clients in court, and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Duties

• Consult with clients to assess case specifics and objectives
• Review case details to develop customized legal strategies
• Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and conduct case research
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and briefs
• Lead pre-trial activities such as depositions and mediations
• Represent clients in court proceedings, agency hearings, arbitrations, and trials

Requirements

• An active member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in litigation
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents
• Capability to work independently while also collaborating with team members
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• North Carolina Bar License (Required)
• South Carolina License (Preferred)
