Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Raleigh office

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with a strong background in complex finance transactions to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience and will play a key role in deal teams, handling various aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.

Duties:

• Participate as a vital member of deal teams, overseeing fundamental aspects of transactions.
• Manage complex finance transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on behalf of clients.
• Draft and review legal documents related to finance transactions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on finance-related matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.
• Strong understanding of sponsor-backed leveraged finance.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in finance transactions.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and good standing.

Education:

• A bachelor's degree in law or a related field is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
