A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Processing Attorney for an exciting opportunity in the Dallas, TX area. This role is ideal for a dedicated Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of immigration law experience, specializing in consular processing and waivers. The Immigration Attorney will handle various immigration cases, including consular processing, waivers, and USCIS applications, while managing their caseload and interacting directly with clients.

Location

• Dallas, TX

Duties

• Manage a caseload of CP/Waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa
• Prepare clients for their consulate interview
• Represent clients before USCIS
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets
• Manage a team of paralegals to meet productivity goals and client expectations
• Provide legal analysis to clients and determine case benefits
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law
• Ability to manage and move legal cases forward efficiently
• A collaborative team player who is open to strategizing with associates
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Experience with Consular Processing applications and waivers
• Familiarity with Case Management Software is preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active membership in the state bar (Texas preferred)

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar in good standing

• Strong knowledge of immigration law, particularly consular processing and waivers
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload
• Strong client communication skills
