A reputable law firm, based in Macon, GA, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. Duties:

• Review and assess new legal cases, developing action plans, budgets, and strategic recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants as necessary.
• Prepare discovery responses and oversee document production to ensure compliance.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other discovery-related events, providing detailed reports.
• Lead settlement negotiations, seek necessary authority and prepare for trial when required.
• Maintain consistent communication with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with diverse clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to adapt to new systems.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar Membership in Georgia.
