Employment Attorney

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and training to employers on employment law and labor relations matters.
• Defend clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies.
• Represent clients in state and federal court when necessary.
• Advise on compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for handling employment-related issues.

Requirements:

• Member of the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively advocate for clients in administrative and court proceedings.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach to legal practice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in New York.
