Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a motivated and passionate Entry-Level Immigration Attorney. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants to deliver strategic immigration solutions.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and explain complex immigration concepts to clients.
• Represent both non-detained and detained individuals in Immigration Court and at the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a caseload of various immigration cases, ensuring that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct intake interviews and consultations with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and submit immigration applications, focusing on removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration packets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding immigration law updates.
• Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.
• Provide in-depth legal analysis for clients, assessing potential case benefits and outcomes.
• Draft and submit legal briefs across various immigration cases.

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney with 0-3 years of immigration law experience.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work alongside other associates.
• Experience managing a legal caseload and advancing cases effectively.
• Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, detained cases, citizenship, and USCIS applications.
• Experience with case management software is an advantage.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong legal writing and analysis skills for preparing briefs and other legal documents.
• Ability to develop strategic solutions and present them clearly to clients and in court.
