The ideal candidate will have experience in patent litigation, particularly in the life sciences sector, and a strong understanding of both federal district court and IPR proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage all stages of intellectual property litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, manage discovery, and resolve disputes.
• Craft and argue motions, including claim construction.
• Assist in trials and appeals, ensuring effective case management throughout.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strategize and achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation (5-8 years preferred).
• Experience in pharmaceutical patent litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act and/or medical device, and chemical patents.
• Proven experience managing complex cases and discovery processes.
• Familiarity with both Federal district court proceedings and IPR matters.
• State Bar admission is required.

Education:

• A degree in a life sciences discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or chemical engineering, is preferred.

Certifications:

• Active membership in a State Bar.
