Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely and accurate work products while meeting deadlines and firm expectations.
• Foster positive work relationships and adhere to all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required, including extended computer work and virtual meetings.
• Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
• Experience with AmLaw 100 firms or SEC-related matters preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Ability to influence others and persuasive communication skills.
• Management skills and admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
