Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and other relevant information to build strong cases.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, representing clients in various legal proceedings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, providing legal advice tailored to clients’ specific needs.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, offering updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with legal team members and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Manage multiple cases and legal projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines and ensuring high-quality work.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and client service, handling confidential matters with discretion.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
  • Prior experience working in a professional office environment, ideally with a focus on personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort speaking on the phone.
