Associate Attorney needed for Salt Lake City office

Location:

Duties:

• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Brief and argue motions in state and federal courts
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests/responses
• Work independently while managing a caseload
• Maintain a high level of organization and time management
• Provide excellent legal analysis and writing for case strategies
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and contribute to the firm’s success

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Prior experience in insurance defense litigation preferred
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Utah
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseload
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Utah State Bar (required)
