A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team in Coral Gables, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial/business litigation, intellectual property litigation, federal court practices, and complex business litigation. This full-time role requires a highly skilled attorney with exceptional research, drafting, and legal strategy capabilities.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and motions.
  • Handle complex litigation matters, particularly in commercial/business litigation, intellectual property litigation, and federal court litigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and court rulings relevant to the practice areas.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and manage cases from inception through resolution.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial/business litigation, intellectual property litigation, and federal court litigation.
  • Strong proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.
  • Familiarity with federal court procedures and complex business litigation cases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and court interactions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
