Duties:

  • Advise clients on licensing, trade practice compliance, and distribution matters in the alcohol, beverage, and cannabis industries.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to the alcohol and beverage sectors.
  • Resolve disputes and manage litigation involving liquor-related issues.
  • Collaborate with and support a team of attorneys across various firm offices.
  • Engage in business development and client management, including the potential to build a partial book of business.
  • Contribute to a positive and cooperative office culture focused on excellent client service.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Washington State.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience handling liquor matters.
  • Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Proven client-service approach and exceptional communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with and leading a diverse team.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • License to practice law in Washington State.

Skills:

  • Expertise in liquor law, including licensing, compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with a team of attorneys.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to exceptional service.
  • FDA experience and a partial book of business are advantageous but not required.
