Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a driven and experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney to join its thriving civil defense team in Pittsburgh, PA. This firm specializes in representing insurance companies across a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, property damage, contract disputes, negligent security, and liquor liability. Duties

• Represent insurance clients in civil litigation cases involving personal injury, property damage, contract disputes, negligent security, and liquor liability.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other case-related documents.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop and execute effective case strategies.
• Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including preparation, discovery, settlement discussions, and trial.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers through clear and consistent communication.
• Stay current with legal trends and updates to ensure informed and effective advocacy.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense.
• Proven trial experience with a track record of successfully managing cases in court.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.
