Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, focusing on motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, construction accidents, and dog bite claims
  • Manage a large caseload with attention to detail and timely case progression
  • Provide legal advice to clients and guide them through the litigation process
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties
  • Handle depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure client needs are met
  • Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and legal practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload
  • Strong litigation experience, including preparing for and handling trials
  • Solid understanding of New Jersey personal injury law
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and client management abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the New Jersey Bar Association is required
