Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation matters, including insurance defense cases

  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them updated on case status
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategies and client solutions
  • Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Valid license to practice law (Kentucky Bar preferred)
  • Prior experience in litigation, preferably insurance defense
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky (or eligibility for licensure)

Skills:

  • Litigation experience, including trial preparation and court appearances
  • Proficient in legal research and writing
