As a Senior Criminal Defense Attorney, the successful candidate will handle a variety of complex criminal cases and will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, guiding clients through the legal process, and contributing to case strategy in collaboration with other attorneys and legal staff.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to clients, explaining their rights and options in criminal matters
• Draft and review legal documents relevant to client cases
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice after each session
• Oversee court appearances, trials, motions, witness interviews, and legal research
• Analyze case outcomes based on knowledge of legal precedents
• Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring timely and accurate legal work
• Offer legal analysis to clients, identifying potential benefits or risks in their cases
• Collect and present additional evidence to support client defenses or challenge prosecution charges
• Prepare clients for depositions, aligning case strategy with gathered information from key witnesses and experts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense
• Proven track record in handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship to junior attorneys
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California
