The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Attorney to handle cases from initial consultation through resolution, including litigation when necessary. Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and agreements related to family law cases.
• Oversee and participate in the discovery process, including depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and development.
• Represent clients in court, presenting cases effectively during hearings and trials.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and the court.
• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess their cases and provide legal guidance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law (two years of litigation experience preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
