Trademark Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Jackson, WY, is seeking a highly motivated Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in trademark law. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is advantageous. Superior writing and communication skills are essential, and foreign language skills are highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and analysis.
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies for clients.
• Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution, including filing and responding to office actions.
• Oversee trademark enforcement actions, including litigation and opposition proceedings.
• Represent clients in TTAB (Trademark Trial and Appeal Board) proceedings.
• Address and resolve issues related to online and social media trademark enforcement.
• Handle UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy) proceedings.
• Draft and review trademark-related legal documents and correspondence.
• Provide clients with strategic advice on trademark portfolio management and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and clients to develop and execute effective trademark strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the state of Wyoming or the ability to obtain admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in trademark law, with a focus on trademark searching, prosecution, and enforcement.
• Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is a plus.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the state of Wyoming (or eligibility to become admitted).
