Associate Attorney needed for Iselin office

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to represent mortgage lender and investor clients in foreclosure and title litigation. This position involves making appearances in state court for routine hearings, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and managing foreclosure cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of New Jersey Mortgage Foreclosure Law and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

Location:

• Iselin, New Jersey

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure matters on behalf of mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court and argue motions necessary for the completion of foreclosure, eviction, title, and related matters.
• Communicate with clients to ensure quality representation and adherence to client directives.
• Collaborate with support staff for the preparation and execution of legal documents used in the foreclosure process.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
• Draft legal pleadings and correspondence related to mortgage foreclosure actions.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in New Jersey and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
• Minimum one year of motion practice experience.
• Knowledge of New Jersey Mortgage Foreclosure Law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
