Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Securities Litigation Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its dynamic team. This full-time, remote role focuses on representing broker/dealers, financial institutions, life insurance carriers, and investment advisory firms in complex securities and shareholder litigation cases. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in securities and shareholder litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Handle FINRA customer arbitration claims involving suitability allegations, unauthorized trading, and sales practice violations.
  • Manage FINRA intra-industry business disputes.
  • Represent clients in FINRA employment disputes, including wrongful termination, defamation, Form U4/U5 expungement demands, and whistleblower retaliation claims.
  • Handle customer arbitrations and civil litigation related to life insurance policy disputes.
  • Provide strong analytical, problem-solving, and litigation skills in complex cases.
  • Collaborate with a team and manage cases independently.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in securities litigation, including representation of broker/dealers, financial institutions, and investment firms.
  • Experience with FINRA customer arbitration and employment disputes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Capability to manage complex litigation matters independently and collaboratively.
  • Active Bar membership and license to practice law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Valid Bar license in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Expertise in securities law and litigation.
  • Experience with FINRA arbitration and securities-related employment disputes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
