Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage bankruptcy cases from initiation through resolution.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy options and strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and motions.
• Negotiate with creditors to reach favorable settlements for clients.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court and during creditor meetings.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the bankruptcy process.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of bankruptcy law, with experience handling bankruptcy cases.
• Strong research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to provide detailed, organized, and accurate legal documents.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas or ability to become admitted within a reasonable timeframe.
• Admission to the Federal Bar in each Texas District is a plus.
