This role provides the opportunity to focus on patent litigation, working with a diverse, national, and international client base. The position follows a hybrid model, with a general expectation of 2-3 days in the office.

Location:

  • Indianapolis, IN

Duties:

  • Focus on patent litigation for a wide range of national and international clients.

  • Represent clients in patent-related disputes, managing cases from initial filings through resolution.

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests.

  • Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in a client-focused, team-oriented environment.

  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and court proceedings.

  • Maintain a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the office.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of intellectual property litigation experience, with a focus on patent law.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Collaborative, client-focused, and team-oriented.

  • Motivated to succeed and take on new challenges.

  • Federal judicial law clerk experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the relevant state bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in patent litigation.

  • A background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is highly encouraged.

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
