Job Overview

A respected law firm located in North Palm Beach is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with at least eight years of experience to support its growing real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions and demonstrate the ability to manage deals from inception to closing. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative legal team serving long-standing clients in a thriving regional market.

Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in a broad range of commercial real estate matters including:

    • Purchases and sales of commercial properties

    • Leasing (landlord and tenant representation)

    • Title, survey, and zoning reviews

    • Real estate finance and lending

  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, lease agreements, and closing documents

  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and local agencies to facilitate closings

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation in all real estate transactions

  • Provide counsel to clients on development and land use issues

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law

  • Substantial experience managing real estate transactions independently

  • Ability to handle multiple matters with attention to detail and deadlines

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • Proven ability to work well in both individual and team settings

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in legal document drafting and contract negotiation

  • Knowledge of real estate laws, land use, and development regulations in Florida
