A law firm in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with exceptional academic credentials and solid law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Hatch Waxman litigation, superb writing and communication skills, and a preference for those with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. This position involves drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the development and execution of litigation strategies.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Oversee and participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, focusing on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and regular updates to clients on case progress and developments.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and manage discovery processes effectively.
  • High level of academic achievement and substantial law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or a related field.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).
