The role requires expertise in insurance coverage, cyber/data breach, and miscellaneous professional liability, with strong emphasis on analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.

Job Details:

• Handle a variety of cases involving insurance coverage, cyber/data breach incidents, and miscellaneous professional liability matters.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including case management, strategy development, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends in professional liability.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
• 5+ years of experience in professional liability law, with a focus on insurance coverage and cyber/data breach incidents.
• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in legal work.
• Experience in litigation, including courtroom appearances and trial preparation.
