Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience

A growing, third-generation law firm in Clifton, New Jersey, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience in personal injury, family law, or estate planning. This hybrid position offers a combination of remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys, representing clients in various legal matters while developing strategies for case management and ensuring timely resolution.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal matters involving personal injury, family law, and estate planning.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and estate planning documents.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their cases.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure favorable outcomes.
• Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and depositions as required.
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely resolution of legal matters.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in personal injury, family law, or estate planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients and legal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and document preparation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey (New York Bar licensure is a plus).

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing sound legal advice.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize work effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
