Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in patent prosecution, particularly in mechanical or electrical engineering fields.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a closely related field.
  • Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Barred in the state where you will be practicing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a closely related field.

Certifications

  • Registered with the USPTO.
  • Bar admission in Alabama.
