Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury law, particularly in motor vehicle accident cases, and a strong commitment to client care and legal excellence. This role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where the attorney will manage cases from start to finish, negotiate settlements, and contribute to a growing, collaborative firm.Location:Baraboo, WIDuties:Manage a caseload of motor vehicle accident cases, from client intake to settlement.Provide guidance and build trust with plaintiff clients throughout the legal process.Conduct discovery, legal research, and pre-suit discovery to support cases.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and lien holders to secure optimal outcomes.Maintain constant communication with internal teams and provide direction.Work with expert witnesses, obtain expert reports, and prepare affidavits.Draft pleadings, write briefs, and assist in discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.Requirements:Active member in good standing with the Wisconsin Bar; license to practice law in Minnesota is preferred but not required.At least 2 years of litigation experience, with a focus on motor vehicle/automobile liability preferred.Ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.Excellent client service and communication skills.Self-motivated, driven by long-term career goals.Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to dynamic legal challenges.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in Wisconsin (and Minnesota preferred).Skills:Strong knowledge of personal injury law and motor vehicle accident cases.Excellent legal research, drafting, and litigation skills.Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.Benefits:Comprehensive health and dental insurance.Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.Retirement plan with matching contributions.Professional development opportunities.
